About the imago

Name : Vanessa
Origin of Name : Hebrew
Meaning : Butterfly

The Ancient Greek word for “butterfly” is ψυχή (psȳchē), which primarily means “soul“, “mind“. In some cultures, butterflies symbolize rebirth into a new life after being inside a cocoon for a period of time. Some others believe that butterflies bring a good luck.

For me, butterfly relates to the life cycle,
. A caterpillar takes the pains and strives hard to ultimately personify beauty. It becomes a butterfly, a symbol of subtlety, beauty and color. I am doing my metamorphosis. I am learning and understanding every phase of my life.
Life is harsh, but magically beautiful. Believe that your life is worth living, and your faith will help you go through it

I (finally) graduated as a chemical engineer and currently trying to enjoy the young professional life. I love cooking, I love dogs, I’m a big fan of music, I love thinking, I love dreaming, I love reading, I love writing, I love so many things, well, I love life. 🙂

I am a realist, but also a daydreamer. I am an ESTJ (Extrovert-Sensing-Thinking-Judging). I’m a total straightforward person, so probably sometimes I end up hurt others feeling (that pretty much describes me as an imperfect human). I’m a free-thinker. I stand for what is right, even if I have to stand alone. I want my life phases to be a motivation, an inspiration, and be able to bring new positive impact to people around me.

A butterfly says, “The caterpillar-me is history, my metamorphosis, a mystery, and today… today is a present, my struggle gifted me”

Butterflies are graceful, varied and enchanting, small but approachable. Butterflies lead you to the sunny side of life. And everyone deserves a little sunshine.

So, here I am, sharing and spreading the butterfly’s effect on :
